League of Women Voters holds environmental forum

The League of Women Voters of Lafayette is hosting its second environmental forum, “Clean, Green and Healthy,” on Monday, Feb. 1.

Representatives of the Boy Scouts of America, Louisiana Crawfish Producers Association, Citizens Opposing Fluoridation, Girl Scouts of Louisiana and S.P.E.A.K (UL’s student environmental group) will be giving presentations, followed by a question and answer session.

The meeting will be held in the Fine Arts Room, South Louisiana Community College, 320 Devalcourt, from noon-1 p.m.; lunch courtesy of the League at 11:30 a.m.
