It was an exciting day for the staff at Brother's on the Boulevard Monday, when Opelousas native turned Saints wide receiver Devery Henderson was spotted shopping in the store. "Of course, a number of the employees recognized him, and asked him to sign autographs and take pictures," says Catherine Abdalla, who owns the store with her husband, Brother.
Soon after the visit, Brother called Henderson to ask if he'd return to sign autographs, and the affable Henderson, who had a sensational year helping lead the Saints to their first-ever Super Bowl victory, agreed to return. Henderson will be at the store, located at 101 Arnould Blvd., from 2-4 p.m. Saturday. Customers are encouraged to bring their Saints items for Henderson to sign; Brother's also has Saints wear for sale.
