Gearing up for what will be the best Big Easel Art Show yet! This Saturday, May 8, 10 am-5 pm, in the Town Square-River Ranch, Lafayette, LA. In addition to fine paintings, photography, sculpture, glass ware, and pottery, Big Easel will feature 7 or 8 jewelry artists who will be exhibiting. Wouldn't that be a great place to look for a Mother's day gift?
If you are anything like me, you always want a sneak peek and you can at The Big Easel's Preview Party this Friday night at Club 1100 at City Club. Sixty artists participating in The Big Easel choose their absolute best piece to be on display and for sale for the area art collectors, patrons, & sponsors of The Big Easel.
Plus, an original acrylic on canvas 24" x 30" painting by Hope Hebert will be auctioned off Friday night...50% of proceeds will go to the Acadiana Center for the Arts (AcA) and 50% of proceeds will go to the River Ranch Arts Institute.
