Great editorial ("Greenspace and Greenbacks," May 16). Regarding the use of the UL Horse Farm, it seems that a green space is definitely an asset for the city-parish. Establishing an arboretum (perhaps with UL's help) would greatly benefit our tourism and tax dollars. Mr. Authement appears to be somewhat arrogant about his powers.
Girard Park is an example of how to use green space, and it's always busy. Please continue to support the green space. Thank you.
