Model shows oil spreading far and wide

Scientists at the National Center for Atmospheric Research stress that the computer model offers a scenario, not a prediction.

A team of researchers at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, supported in part by the National Science Foundation, have released a computer simulation of what BP's Gulf oil spill may end up doing if the loop current behaves as predicted.
