Bake up something special for Father's Day at Great Harvest
Every father will tell you that a homemade gift from their kids is heartwarming, and if the handmade gift is cookies that's very sweet, indeed. Local children are invited to bake up something special and tasty for Dad at the local Great Harvest bakery. It's fun for kids, unique and appreciated by Dad, and Mom doesn't need to clean a single mixing bowl or cookie sheet. While the cookies bake, children prepare personalized gift boxes and cards for their special gifts. They'll get a tour of the bakery, too. The cost for one child is $20. Sessions take place Thursday, June 17 through Saturday, June 19. Great Harvest is located at 854A Kaliste Saloom Rd. in Lafayette, and is open Tuesday through Saturday.
