Letters to the Editor

EX-WIVES, DISGRUNTLED CLIENTS AND UNHAPPY PARTNERS

I have known Newman Trowbridge for almost 20 years. I have been involved in matters in which he and I were on the same side, and I have been involved in matters in which we were opponents. In no situation has Newman ever acted in any manner other than as a very skilled lawyer who exhibits the highest personal and ethical standards. The accusations of the type you recite ("The Newman Trowbridge Files," July 11) by ex-wives, disgruntled clients and unhappy business partners do not change my impression of him in the slightest.
