Lafayette 'passive house' featured in USA Today

USA Today has just featured the ultra efficient 1200 square foot abode in its series "This Week's Green House." UL architecture professor Corey Saft's small town home on Whittington Drive has generated a lot of interest and enthusiasm from the local community. The home recently became the first in the South to achieve Passive House certification, a gold standard of energy efficiency imported from Germany. (Saft also expects the home will also receive a platinum rating from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.) Now, the house is in the national news.
