Back by popular demand, Acadiana Open Channel is challenging Lafayette creatives to create movies that fit our ever shortening attention spans. The Three Minute Movie Challenge gives teams of three three days to produce a three minute movie using three randomly picked plot points. Teams can register together or individuals can register and be placed on teams at the opening party. No experience necessary and content is only limited by your imagination. AOC will make cameras and editing equipment available to teams that need them, though supplies are limited.

The kick-off event will be held Friday, September 17th at 6 p.m. to assign teams and issue plot points. Teams will turn in their films on Monday, September 20th. The winners will then be voted on by all the players  at a viewing party that night at the Acadiana Center for Film and Media. Event rules and registration are available online at www.aocinc.org, or at AOC's offices at 704 Lee Avenue downtown.
