CFA opens grant cycle to nonprofits

Community Foundation of Acadiana has announced the administration of a grant cycle beginning Friday, Oct. 1 through the Pugh Family Fund Community Foundation of Acadiana has announced the administration of a grant cycle beginning Friday, Oct. 1 through the Pugh Family Fund, a donor-advised fund in which donors have advisory privileges over the administration of grants issued through the fund. The Pugh Family Fund supports nonprofit organizations that address anti-poverty and education initiatives in the Acadiana area, both long-term and short-term. This is the second go-round of Pugh Family Fund grants; last spring the family donated more than $50,000 to Acadiana nonprofit organizations.

Applicants must complete an organizational profile and enter CFA's DONORSense database, which helps donors make effective charitable decisions. Applications will be accepted until Nov. 15.
