Gateau Na-Na and much more!

Historic Grand Coteau is a nice place to pause from the Lafayette scene.

Historic Grand Coteau is a nice place to pause from the Lafayette scene. Let's visit that moment shall we? Aside from the delicious Gateau Na-Na the Kitchen Shop is famous far; it has the most beautiful Gingko biloba.  Gingko biloba or its popular name, the Maidenhair Tree stands next the shop and underneath this tree is the perfect sitting area. However, the Kitchen Shop does have a tea room-and samples of the Na-Na, but I prefer sitting outside so I can take in the small town feel.   The idea of having a quiet spot for tea immediately brings relaxation to the mind.  I cannot wait for the leaves to turn yellow, which should be any day now.

Celebrating its 27th year in business, the Kitchen Shop now offers a small selection of wine.   Yippee, this means Wine Tastings soon!  What a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

The Kitchen Shop is open Tuesday Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 1-5. For more information call 337.662.3500.
