Alliance for Justice is a national association of more thanĀ 100 organizations dedicated to advancing justice and democracy. For the past 30 years the organization has been fighting for a more equitable society on behalf of a broad constituency of environmental, consumer, and civil rights groups, including associations that support women's, children's, senior citizens' rights.

From the Alliance for Justice website:

Alliance for Justice is premised on the belief that all Americans have the right to secure justice in the courts and to have our voice heard when government makes decisions that affect our lives. AFJ works to motivate and organize a wide swath of the nonprofit community - consumers, unions, disability rights, senior citizens, environmental, bar associations, academics and others - to get involved in the critical issue of preserving the right of all people to have access to protect their rights and hold others accountable for wrongdoing. This right is the very foundation of the American civil justice system. It has been one of the most effective tools that ordinary Americans have against government and corporate power.
