The Blue Moon Saloon packs the action in for Mardi Gras week.
As always, the Blue Moon Saloon is on it when it comes to booking shows during a holiday or festival weekend. This year's Mardi Gras is no different. The Blue Moon will be celebrating its 10th annual Mardi Gras with some killer live music. Tonight The Stone River Boys open up for a special Mardi Gras Bluerunners reunion show. These guys were breaking the mold before anyone knew where to flush it. They're back with all the original Bluerunners for this show. On March 5, Louisiana transplant Cedric Watson & Bijou Creole kick the jams with the old time Cajun sounds of Ryan Brunet & the Malfecteurs. On March, 6, Hungry, Hungry pair up with Sonny Duval and Isle Derniere of Les Breastfeeders for some garage rock action. On my March 7, Brass Bed and Feufollet team up for indie pop and Lundi Gras rock shenanigans. On Mardi Gras day, JP Harris and the Tough Choices, The Pine Hill Haints, Drew Landry, Troy Richard and the Richard Revue, Diego Martin & 80 Proof, Brass Mimosa. Teddy Lamson. Julian Primeaux and His Royal Rowdy Company, Prodigies of Peace, and good ole'Hart kick out a TON of jams all freaking day.
