City-Parish Councilman Keith Patin will host a town hall meeting from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the Southside Regional Library. The District 8 rep says the meeting will provide "an open discussion of any issues within the district.

On Feb. 23 a Patin-hosted town hall meeting dissolved into acrimony when Parc Lafayette developer got into a verbal sparring match with members of the Tea Party of Lafayette over the then-controversial ordinances that would have created tax increment financing districts to help bankroll his project.
