Poupart's Bakery is expanding to Jefferson Street.
The popular bakery, located at the corner of Pinhook and Kaliste Saloom roads, is opening Poupart's Bistro in the Gordon Square building.
There will be several bistro-style tables and chairs and offerings such as freshly baked danishes, croissants and biscuits, along with soups, salads and sandwiches for lunch. The hours are tentatively to be 7 a.m. to right before dinner time so patrons can nab a nosh on the way to work or grab something to go with dinner on the way home.
Some of the cakes and other sweets Poupart's is famous for will make it to Jefferson Street as well. Read more about the bakery's expansion in the April 27-May 24 issue of ABiz, out on newsstands Wednesday.
