8th Annual La Cuisine de la Louisiane

A culinary fundraiser fit for a King of Comfort Food

Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville hosts the 8th Annual La Cuisine de la Louisiane, a culinary fundraiser to be held in the Mari Showroom on Sunday, July 31 from 5:30-7:30pm. Grammy winner Chubby Carrier, legendary zydeco musician, is scheduled to perform at La Cuisine. This year's event will serve as a major fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Lafayette, the Avoyelles Society for the Developmentally Disabled of Marksville and the American Red Cross of Central Louisiana in Alexandria.

This year's participating restaurants include: The Landing, Tunk's Cypress Inn, Beau's Restaurant, Sake Sushi, Portabella, Creative Foods, A Piece of Cake, Prejean's , Poor Boy Riverside Inn, Little River Inn, Agave Mexican Cantina, Trynd Ristorante, Zeus Café, Fezzo's Seafood & Steakhouse, Crawfish Town USA, Great Harvest Bread Co., WOW Café & Wingery, Café Des Amis, Family Grill, Daddee's, Silver Lining Pie Co., Panaroma Foods Inc., Cake Creations, Kelone's Catering, Fresh Catch Bistreaux, Bernard's Cajun Sea-Fry, Pierite Café, Effie's Little Kitchen, Republic Beverage, S&D Coffee and Paragon Casino Resort.

Tickets to La Cuisine de la Louisiane are $35 and may be purchased in advance by contacting MDA at 337-234-0088, ASDD at 318-253-6955 and the American Red Cross, 318-442-6621. Tickets will also be sold at the door on the night of the event. Paragon Casino Resort is offering an exclusive $59 hotel rate to attendees valid on the night of La Cuisine.
