C'est what? Fleming laments $600K take-home pay

"By the time I feed my family, I have maybe $400,000 left over."

U.S. Rep. John Fleming, R-Disconnected, has one hungry family. The north Louisiana congressman and physician, who also owns Subway restaurant franchises and reportedly earned $6.3 million in profits last year, went on the defensive against President Obama's deficit-reduction plan, which includes higher taxes on millionaires - the so-called "Buffet Tax," named after billionaire investor Warren Buffet, who in a recent op-ed called for the wealthy to share a greater financial burden.

Fleming told MSNBC that after taxes and other expenses, his take-home pay is actually closer to $600,000, and "by the time I feed my family, I have maybe $400,000 left over..."
