Bundle up and hunker down in Parc International Nov. 5 for a showing of the movie Jurassic Park.

Jurassic Park was the 1993 Steven Spielberg-helmed blockbuster about a group of scientist who thought it would be hunky dory to open an amusement park of cloned dinosaurs. The plot develops as the scientists realize that this wasn't the best of ideas when the dinosaurs break loose.

Downtown Development Authority is showing this in celebration of the Lafayette Science Museum's amazing new exhibit, "Dinosaurs: Ancient Fossils, New Discoveries." Before the movie there will be a dig site set up for kids to discover dinosaur bones. More information about the museum can be found at its website.

Parc International opens at 6 p.m. with the movie beginning at 7 p.m. Entry is $2 and free for children 5 and younger. Concessions will be sold at the event. Bring chairs or blankets to sit on. Call 291-5566 for more information about Movies in the Parc.

The next movie scheduled for Parc International is the Christmas classic Elf on Nov. 26
