Colossus Calendar, The Ind's monster online roster of local and regional things-to-do, now offers a live feed of the full schedule of Cajundome events, adding scores more to the thousand-plus options already available at colossuscal.com.

"We've been working with the Cajundome to make this happen since we launched Colossus back in September," says Michael Lunsford, online development director for The Ind. "This has been a big goal for all of us from the start."

Developed in collaboration with the Lafayette Economic Development Authority and sponsored by AT&T and IberiaBank, Colossus tracks everything from the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, PASA and the Acadiana Center for the Arts to UL and LSU athletics, regional fairs and festivals, local entertainment, workshops, classes, government and club meetings and more.

"Acadiana is a vibrant community," says Lunsford. "We recognized the need for a central community calendar to serve event planners as well as audiences for anything and everything anyone might want to do here."

Colossus is edited for The Ind in print each week by calendar editor Wynce Nolley, who also compiles The Grid of live entertainment in both the print and online versions. Users can access the site via QR code from the publication, a hyperlink from theind.com or directly at ColossusCal.com.
