The weather is not playing nice with Lafayette's Downtown Development Authority. Friday's Movies in the Parc is cancelled.
DDA has been trying to show the holiday family movie Elf for a month now but weather keeps being fickle, and to keep everyone safe as well as dry they have rescheduled for Dec. 21. Gates to Parc International will open at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $2. People are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to sit on and keep warm. Concessions will be sold.
If it needs further rescheduling we will let you know. We will also know if Mother Nature dislikes downtown if it does.
