Members of the Comprehensive Plan Citizens Advisory Committee will meet Monday with planners from the Philadelphia firm Wallace, Roberts & Todd, who will be in town to tour Lafayette Parish by bus Monday afternoon and Tuesday as part of the commencement of an 18-month process of developing a comprehensive master plan to manage Lafayette's growth over the next few decades.

The committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Rosa Parks Transportation Center following the bus tour, and WRT representatives are also expected to share the microphone with City-Parish President Joey Durel Wednesday at the Cajundome Convention Center during Durel's annual State of the Parish address, which is expected to be devoted largely to the master planning process now under way.
