The program was to feature Grammy-nominated and Grammy Award winners and it still will when it comes to the ACA's James Devin Moncus Theater in June.

The Lieutenant Governor's Grammy Gala, originally set for Feb. 25 at the Acadiana Center for the Arts has been postponed until June 8.

The program was to feature Grammy-nominated and Grammy Award winners and it still will when it comes to the ACA's James Devin Moncus Theater in June.

Scheduled to perform are nominees and the winner in the Best Regional Roots Album category in the 54th annual event held last Sunday in L.A.

And that would include the winner of said category, The Rebirth Brass Band, as well as nominees Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, and C.J. Chenier & the Red Hot Louisiana Band.

Also scheduled for the summertime show are Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band, Joel and Anne Savoy, the Magnolia Sisters, CC Adcock and others. Carrier, by the way, brought home the Best Zydeco or Cajun Music Album Grammy last year, which is also the last year of the category before it became what it is today.

Tickets are $75 and are all-inclusive; VIP tables available. Tickets can be purchased online in advance at AcadianaCenterfortheArts.org, by visiting the box office at 101 W. Vermilion St. or by calling (337) 233-7060.
